Performance genes pigeon

Determine if your pigeon (Columba livea) carry mutations associated with performance in racing pigeons, namelly:

• cryptochrome-1 gene (CRY1);

• calcium/calmodulin-dependent serine protein kinase (CASK);

• dopamine receptor D4 (DRD4)

• low-density lipoprotein receptor-related protein 8 (LRP8);

• glutathione disulphide reductase (GSR)

• myostatin (MSTN)

• lactate dehydrogenase (LDHA)

• feather keratin (F-KER)

We require feather follicle or blood sample in ethanol (96%).

For orders above 50 samples, sexing is included at no extra cost.
